🐾 Frequently Asked Questions at Puppy Dog Nursery

Your Puppy Journey, Made Simple and Stress-Free

We know that bringing a puppy home is a big decision, and you deserve clear, honest answers.
Here’s everything you need to know about adopting from Puppy Dog Nursery. 🐶✨

❓ Will I get support after I adopt a puppy?

Absolutely!
At Puppy Dog Nursery, adoption is just the beginning.
We offer ongoing support, training tips, healthcare advice, and guidance to help you through every stage of your puppy’s transition into your family.

❓ I want a puppy, but I’m not sure I have enough time for one. What should I do?

You’re not alone — and we can help.
We offer a range of puppies at different developmental stages, typically between 8 to 18 weeks old.
Our puppies complete early socialization and potty training, making them adaptable to various lifestyles, even for busy families.
✅ Crate training started
✅ Litter pan familiarization
✅ Socialized with different environments and people

❓ I need a dog that’s good with kids and cats. Can you help?

Yes!
Our puppies go through extensive socialization, including exposure to children and other pets like cats.
While each puppy is unique, early socialization helps set them up for success in busy, loving homes.

❓ Are the puppies fully potty trained when I adopt?

We start the process!
Our puppies are introduced to litter pan potty training and crate training as part of their early development.
However, full housebreaking requires a little patience and continued work once they’re home.
We provide a customized potty training plan to set you (and your puppy) up for success. 🐾

❓ Do you offer any health guarantees with your puppies?

Yes — several layers of protection:
  • Congenital Health Guarantee: Covers genetic health defects
  • Five-Day Viral Guarantee: Valid if you visit your vet within the first 5 business days
  • Lifetime Vaccine Guarantee: Stay current with vet-recommended vaccines for lifetime protection
Important:
Our guarantees require following your vet’s spay/neuter recommendations and routine care protocols.

❓ Can I use my own vet?

Of course!
As long as you follow your trusted veterinarian’s recommendations for vaccines and spaying/neutering, all of our health guarantees remain valid.

❓ Can I adopt if I already have a dog at home?

Yes!
We love helping multi-dog households grow!
We’ll work closely with you to match a puppy whose temperament and energy level will complement your current dog.
We also offer tips for successful introductions.

❓ What happens if a puppy isn’t adopted right away?

At Puppy Dog Nursery, time is never a problem.
Puppies who stay with us longer continue to receive training, socialization, and love — which only increases their value and readiness for the right home.
No puppy is ever rushed or discounted.

❓ I thought you crate-trained the puppies. Why is mine crying at night?

Good question — and totally normal!
While we begin crate training here, adjusting to a new home can be overwhelming for young puppies.
Some nighttime crying is part of the adjustment period.
🛏️ Tips we recommend:
  • Create a calming bedtime routine
  • Provide a cozy crate setup with familiar scents or toys
  • Stay patient and consistent

❓ What is your Lifetime Return Policy?

We’re committed to the lifelong well-being of every puppy we place.
If at any point you cannot care for your puppy, you must either:
  • Rehome them responsibly to family or friends (warranties end at that point), or
  • Return them to Puppy Dog Nursery for rehoming
Important:
Puppies must never be surrendered to a shelter, rescue, or sold through online marketplaces.
We stand behind every life we help start.
